What does FairAppeal cost?
FairAppeal costs 25% of the savings we produce, with no upfront fee and no charge if we do not save you money.
That 25% applies to property tax reductions, homeowner benefits, tax credits, subsidies, and any other reductions we obtain. If we claw back savings from prior years, the fee is 25% of the amount recovered.
The fee is billed once after a successful reduction. Savings that continue after that first year stay yours.
When we win a property tax appeal, we lower your assessed value. Your city and county set the tax rate. A higher rate can still increase your bill in a year we won. The savings are the difference between what you pay and what you would have paid without the reduction.
A later-year case is billed the same way: 25% of new savings if we succeed, and no charge if we do not.
You do not need to provide a credit card to get started.
