We are hiring Utah-based representatives to present prepared cases to county Boards of Equalization on behalf of property owners. We handle the research, the case, and the evidence. You present the case and report the outcome.
Property taxes have increased 31% since 2019, and we are here to help homeowners better manage them. Our team does the research, builds the case, and packages the evidence. Your job is to review the prepared materials, present a clear and persuasive case on the property owner's behalf, handle any informal negotiation with the assessor or board, and report the result back to our team.
This is flexible, supplemental work that suits people who want to take on cases on their own schedule. Most Board of Equalization hearings are conducted virtually or by phone, so you can work from anywhere in Utah.
What you’ll own
- Case review. Review the prepared case materials and supporting evidence ahead of each hearing.
- Representation. Represent property owners at Board of Equalization hearings across Utah.
- Presentation. Present the evidence clearly and persuasively to board members.
- Negotiation. Engage in informal negotiation or settlement discussions with the assessor or board where allowed.
- Reporting. Report hearing outcomes back to the team.
Who you are
- Comfortable presenting and advocating in a hearing setting.
- Organized, reliable, and responsive.
- Based in Utah.
Bonus if you have appeared before a valuation board before, but it is not required. Every case comes to you fully built.
