Chief of Staff Intern
FairAppeal is building the easiest way for homeowners to lower their property taxes. We are small, moving fast, and taking big swings.
We need a Chief of Staff who is an athlete. You will work side by side with the CEO on everything that moves the company: go-to-market, operations, agent building, hiring, managing, software development, and data scraping. You will own projects, ship work that gets used, and get handed hard problems to solve.
The person who thrives here is organized to a fault, catches the details everyone else drops, and finds a way through when the obvious path is a dead end. You move fast, and you close every loop.
What you’ll own
- Go-to-market. Outreach, campaign building, and figuring out what works and what doesn't.
- Operations. Keep the trains running and turn our one-off scrambles into systems that don't break.
- Agent building. Help design and sharpen the AI agents behind our pipeline and internal tools. You don't need to be an engineer, but you do need to get your hands dirty.
- Whatever the week demands. Research a new market, build a quick tool, chase down the answer.
Who you are
- Strong critical thinking abilities and resourcefulness.
- Operational experience, ideally managing complex and high-volume operations.
- Relentlessly organized with sharp attention to detail.
- A creative problem solver when the first three answers don't work.
- Fast, low-ego, and reliable. You do what you say you'll do.
- Comfortable with AI tools and able to pick up technical skills on your own.
Bonus if you have worked at a technology company, an investment bank, or a hedge fund, or come from anywhere the bar was set by output.
You'll take on more, faster, than you would anywhere else, and strong performers earn a path to full-time.
